During the revolutionary period, the Domain becomes allied to a rich family of merchants and servicemen of great merit in Napoleonic battles. The Domain is in a turmoil, vines are planted and great works are done at the Logis. But suddenly in the 1850s, the Logis is abandoned and works are stopped. Since then the Logis will fall asleep…The Domain will lose its land because of philoxera…Different owners will briefly follow one another, having to face ups and downs…
During the 20th century, the property is divided and parceled out. Some farmers live in the Logis which nevertheless remains the family’s property but without taking care of it until 1989. The Logis, neglected and asleep for so long, is in terrible condition. The annexes are in ruin and the gardens are fallow. Then, the new owner, who is today’s owner, has to take up a challenge : bring the place back to life.
